What you will do

• Manage daily housekeeping and laundry shift operations across guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas.
• Coordinate room status updates with Front Desk and maintenance needs with Engineering.
• Supervise cleaning schedules, room assignments, supplies, uniforms, and inspection programs.
• Monitor departmental expenses, budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress.
• Handle guest concerns and drive continuous improvement in service performance.
• Supervise staffing, training, performance feedback, hiring support, and disciplinary procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related professional area; alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major.
• Ability to supervise housekeeping operations, inspections, staffing levels, supplies, and service standards.
• Ability to understand departmental budgets, operating statements, payroll reports, and controllable expenses.
• Ability to train employees, provide performance feedback, and apply policies and procedures consistently.
• Work is based at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan.
