Technical Test Manager (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working across company offices, client sites, and home; working from home 100% of the time is not permitted.

What you will do

• Manage test strategy, planning, governance, and delivery across multiple complex programmes and portfolios.
• Define testing standards, frameworks, controls, operating models, and quality governance processes.
• Lead end-to-end functional and non-functional testing, including integration, system, regression, performance, security, accessibility, resilience, and user acceptance testing.
• Lead Test Leads, Test Analysts, Quality Engineering teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
• Establish quality metrics, reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, and programme-level risk and defect governance.
• Drive automation adoption, AI-enabled testing, continuous improvement, budget ownership, resource planning, and vendor management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing testing and quality assurance across large-scale, complex programmes and enterprise initiatives.
• Strong experience in test governance, quality management, risk control, executive stakeholder reporting, resource management, estimation, capacity planning, and budget oversight.
• Expertise across functional automation, performance, security, accessibility, and resilience testing.
• Experience defining enterprise test strategies, operating models, standards, and quality frameworks, including automation and AI.
• Deep understanding of Agile, SAFe, DevOps, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent test management and defect tracking platforms, plus Generative AI and Agentic AI for testing.
