EMEA Tax Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Assist with corporate income tax returns for hirify.global entities across EMEA.
• Prepare indirect tax returns, including VAT and stamp duty filings.
• Support tax audits, tax reporting, and special projects.
• Contribute to legal entity restructuring and R&D tax incentive projects across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Support tax transformation initiatives, including automation, AI use cases, and migration to a new ERP system.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, or an equivalent field; a master’s degree in taxation is preferred.
• Knowledge of income tax regulations and indirect tax rules.
• Experience with statutory audits, income tax audits, or indirect tax audits is beneficial.
• Knowledge of tax reporting under US GAAP or IFRS is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and maintain high standards of integrity and work ethic.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle.
• Familiarity with OneStream, Alteryx, or other data and automation tools.
• Relevant experience in an accounting firm or corporation.
