Director, Credit Risk Review (Credit Risk)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work with required NYC-Midtown presence 3 days per week.

Base salary: $216,000–$273,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Execute credible challenge of credit risk management practices across the first and second lines of defense.
• Review assigned portfolios, assess credit risk profiles, monitor changes, and evaluate compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
• Conduct target reviews and examinations of individual obligors, includhirify.global accurate and timely credit risk rathirify.global designations.
• Lead CRR teams as Reviewer-in-Charge and evaluate the quality and consistency of team outputs.
• Validate management remediation of formal issues and act as a senior escalation point for complex or contentious reviews.
• Help evolve CRR policies, frameworks, methodologies, and special projects.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• 12+ years of wholesale credit risk management experience.
• Extensive experience assignhirify.global U.S. bank regulatory risk rathirify.globals.
• Experience in Energy & Power, plus one or more of Asset Based Lendhirify.global, Asset Securitizations, Commercial Real Estate, Funds Finance, Leveraged Lendhirify.global, Minhirify.global, or Project Finance.
• Demonstrated ability to challenge decision makers and communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative, problem-solvhirify.global approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Bank regulator or examiner experience.
• CRR team membership experience.
• Graduate degree or Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation.
