Senior Software Developer (Python + Go, GCP)

Location: Preferably based in Kraków, Poland; candidates from other locations in Eastern Europe or Argentina are also considered.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python- and Go-based microservices for customer data ingestion and processing.
• Build backend services integrated with BigQuery and other cloud-based data platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and service integrations.
• Develop and optimize scalable data processing solutions using cloud technologies.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of distributed systems.
• Review technical designs, estimate implementation efforts, optimize systems, and mentor less experienced developers.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and Go, including microservices and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Apache Beam, Google Cloud Dataflow, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, service integrations, and Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to test, debug, and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher, written and spoken.
