Senior Tax Manager

Location: Dallas, Texas; minimum 5 days per week in the office. No relocation offered.

Salary: $105,600–$158,400 USD annually.

What you will do

• Prepare recurring income tax accruals and quarterly tax provision calculations under ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP.
• Manage tax account reconciliations, deferred tax rollforwards, effective tax rate calculations, uncertain tax positions, and valuation allowances.
• Prepare interim and year-end financial statement disclosures.
• Research tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other business transactions.
• Collaborate with team members and tax advisors on ad hoc projects.
• Improve tax operations through automation, technology, and process enhancements while maintaining SOX controls.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Big Four or large corporate experience, primarily in income tax accounting.
• Focused experience in tax accounting and reporting, with strong critical-thinking and tax issue evaluation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Availability to work in the Dallas office at least 5 days per week is required; relocation is not offered.

Nice to have

• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Power BI, or Alteryx.
• CPA license.
