AI Tutor (Ukrainian)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois.

Salary: $35–$45 per hour for US-based candidates. International compensation is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Annotate, label, record, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and auditory elements.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Ukrainian.
• Curate audio data representing accurate pronunciation, accents, intonation, rhythm, and other prosodic features.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve speech modulation, accent variation, noise handling, and multilingual audio processing.
• Help improve annotation tools and audio workflows.

Requirements

• Native Ukrainian proficiency, including familiarity with diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with clear pronunciation suitable for audio recording.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to evaluate pronunciation, intonation, accents, speech accuracy, and audio quality.
• Experience or demonstrated ability in accurate transcription, translation, localization, and interpretation of multilingual audio.
• Ability to make consistent judgments on ambiguous, noisy, or accented speech and communicate detailed feedback.
• For personal-device work, use a Chromebook, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, or cognitive science.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice model training.
• Experience in translation or localization workflows for software, product copy, or conversational AI.
• Professional voice work, voice recording, podcasting, or audio production experience.
• Voice samples, annotated transcripts, or another portfolio of audio-related work.
