What you will do
- Challenge advanced language models with Latvian grammar, syntax, morphology, phonetics, semantics, pragmatics, and dialect scenarios.
- Converse with models and verify factual accuracy, logical soundness, and linguistic quality.
- Document reproducible model failure modes and capture detailed error traces.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
- Analyze topics including noun declension, verb conjugation, sentence structure, word order, and syntactic variation.
Requirements
- Expert-level Latvian language proficiency, including grammar, syntax, morphology, phonetics, semantics, and pragmatics.
- Strong ability to explain linguistic reasoning clearly and metacognitively.
- Master’s or PhD in Latvian language, linguistics, or a closely related field is ideal.
- Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or practical linguistic analysis projects is relevant.
- Availability to work remotely from Latvia.
