Focus on facilitating definition workshops, resolving cross-domain terminology conflicts, improving the Excel/Python intake process, and maintaining lightweight governance.

What you will do

  • Work with data stewards to capture and certify business definitions in Unity Catalog.
  • Map tables, fields, metrics, and other data assets across Finance, Commercial, HR, and Marketing.
  • Facilitate definition workshops and recommend descriptions, owners, related terms, and calculation logic.
  • Clean, validate, upload, and verify approved definitions in Unity Catalog.
  • Resolve cross-domain terminology conflicts and follow up with stakeholders to maintain progress.
  • Improve the Excel/Python-based intake process, document the workflow, and establish lightweight governance.

Requirements

  • Experience with data stewardship.
  • Experience with Databricks and Databricks data governance.
  • Experience with Unity Catalog.
  • Based in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

  • Strong Python skills.
