Senior Recruitment Consultant (Fashion & Retail)

Location: Remote from South Africa; approximately 30 hours per week with strong overlap with the Australian business day and early starts in South Africa.

Salary: Competitive South African base salary plus a strong commission structure.

What you will do

• Manage recruitment assignments from initial briefing and sourcing through interviews, offer negotiation, and placement.
• Understand client requirements and provide informed recruitment advice across specialist markets.
• Headhunt candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, referrals, and specialist networks.
• Build talent pipelines, assess candidate suitability, and present accurate qualified shortlists.
• Manage candidate relationships, interviews, feedback, recruitment CRM records, and desk priorities.
• Develop client relationships and support Australian and US recruitment assignments.

Requirements

• Solid recruitment agency experience in fashion, retail, beauty, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant specialist market, roles, skill sets, and candidate profiles.
• Demonstrated success managing recruitment assignments and delivering placements.
• Strong headhunting, candidate management, organisation, and follow-through skills.
• Practical experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and recruitment CRMs.
• Excellent written and verbal English and ongoing availability for working hours aligned with the Australian business day.
