Staff/Principal Machine Learning Engineer (Gen AI, Graph ML, Big Data)

Salary: $170,000–$240,000 per year, plus benefits

What you will do

• Define the technical vision and launch strategic machine learning solutions across products and platforms.
• Lead the complete software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, operations, and technical reviews.
• Design high-performance, high-scale microservices with synchronous and asynchronous web services.
• Develop real-time online inference for complex models using Triton, TensorRT, and mixed-precision computing.
• Establish technical direction, mentor engineers, and improve engineering and operational processes.

Requirements

• Degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of software development lifecycle experience and 5–10 years of advanced Python experience.
• Expertise designing RESTful APIs, including hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
• 3+ years designing and architecting large distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team lead.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in computer science or equivalent machine learning experience.
• Experience with PyTorch, SageMaker, Triton, TensorRT, NoSQL, and document databases.
• Experience handling big data, optimizing workflows, and improving system performance.
