What you will do

• Review and negotiate contracts independently and draft legal letters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports.
• Maintain databases of legal precedents, grids, checklists, and business affairs forms.
• Provide presentations and training to the Business Affairs team and music assistants.
• Advise assistants on ad-hoc legal and business affairs matters.
• Handle administrative support, including expenses, scheduling, and document work.

Requirements

• J.D. degree required.
• Admission to the Tennessee or New York state bar required.
• At least one year of transactional legal or business affairs experience.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, plus familiarity with AI tools.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, meet tight deadlines, communicate clearly, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
