Lead Agentic Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Write, review, test, and ship production code on a primary client platform.
• Design and implement features end to end, from technical approach through release.
• Build and maintain high-performance 2D graphics editing and rendering capabilities.
• Optimize startup time, memory usage, responsiveness, rendering, battery life, and network efficiency.
• Implement application security, automated testing, CI/CD, feature flags, progressive rollouts, and kill-switches.
• Track release health through crash, performance, defect, and production telemetry, while collaborating with Product Management and UX.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional client or frontend software development experience with deep expertise in iOS, Android, or Electron/Angular.
• Hands-on graphics and rendering experience with technologies such as Core Graphics, Metal, Canvas, Skia, Vulkan, WebGL, or CanvasKit.
• Expert proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript and the corresponding native UI framework.
• Experience with backend APIs, REST, architectural patterns, concurrency, automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• At least one year of practical experience with AI engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, including AI/LLM integration and agentic patterns.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
