Infrastructure Support Engineer - OpenStack

What you will do

• Monitor, triage, and resolve complex L2 incidents across Unix/Linux and OpenStack production environments.
• Support and maintain compute, networking, and virtualization layers, with a focus on OpenStack Neutron and OpenStack Ironic.
• Work within a rotating follow-the-sun shift model to provide operational coverage outside EMEA hours.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, technical runbooks, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Collaborate with US-based Senior Engineers and escalate deep code issues to EMEA-based tooling developers.

Requirements

• Commercial experience administering and troubleshooting Linux-based infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on production or large-scale staging experience with OpenStack.
• Practical experience with hypervisors and virtualization technologies such as KVM or Proxmox.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigation, performance analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills and a proactive approach to technical writing and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and Python or Bash scripting.
