2027 Construction Project Management Intern (Climate Solutions)

Location: On-site five days per week in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The posting covers multiple opportunities, some of which may be remote or hybrid at facilities across North America. Travel is less than 15% within a defined geography.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate construction projects, including schedules, tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, CPM analysis, and histogram analysis.
• Support engineering programming and material selection activities in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Help establish and maintain project operating budgets, revise estimates, monitor forecasted completion costs, and manage expenses.
• Prepare subcontractor RFQs covering scopes, plans, milestone dates, specifications, bonding requirements, and billing schedules.
• Review and qualify subcontractor proposals and help supervise project staff, subcontractors, and installers.
• Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and other project stakeholders about scope, budgets, performance, close-out, issues, and information needs.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree throughout the 12-week summer internship; construction engineering, building management, construction management, HVAC, engineering, or an equivalent field is preferred.
• Have completed at least the second year of the degree program before the internship begins.
• Demonstrate knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and practices through coursework, projects, groups, employment, or volunteer experience.
• Have the legal right to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid driver's licence for at least 12 months, provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent recent traffic violations.
• French fluency and full professional working proficiency in English, both oral and written, are required.
