Medical Science Liaison - Obesity - Tennessee (Obesity)

Location: US - Tennessee - Nashville-Davidson; field territory includes Nashville, TN and Memphis, TN.

Salary: $156,998.40–$212,409.60 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary scientific and clinical resource for obesity opinion leaders, healthcare providers, population health decision makers, and clinical investigators.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges and communicate balanced clinical, outcomes, and economic data.
• Support the obesity clinical pipeline, sponsored research, non-sponsored research, and investigator relationships.
• Provide field observations and insights to internal stakeholders and contribute to medical strategies and project teams.
• Lead or support congress activities and speaker training while maintaining compliance with MSL standards.
• Maintain strong external relationships, complete administrative responsibilities, and keep current with clinical data and healthcare trends.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, or a related medical field.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate scientific data effectively with healthcare stakeholders.
• Experience with cardiometabolic conditions and/or obesity is preferred.
• Experience covering a designated territory is preferred.
• Ability to work in the assigned Tennessee field territory covering Nashville and Memphis.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• Current Medical Affairs or Scientific Affairs experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Four or more years in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
