Senior Software Developer

Location: Remote work site in Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: USD 53–74 per hour

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and support full-stack software applications.
• Lead complex software projects from requirements analysis and design through implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, users, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
• Analyze technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose and implement solutions.
• Perform code reviews, document systems and solutions, and improve team tools and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, training, and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software developer.
• Experience with software design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and operational support.
• Ability to lead projects, make technical decisions, and collaborate in an Agile environment.
• Role location: remote work site in Chicago, Illinois.

Nice to have

• .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Microsoft SQL Server database design and query optimization.
• Angular, Razor, React, or Blazor experience.
• Git or TFS, Docker, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, and Microsoft Azure.
