Software Engineer II (Web/.NET): Designing, developing, and supporting NCHS websites and distributed software applications with an accent on web development, production deployments, API technologies, and database optimization. Focus on building stable applications, solving client and system issues, guiding technical decisions, and collaborating across development, testing, and stakeholder teams.
Location: Remote, Miami, Florida

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain web application systems.
- Build and maintain web content using content management and desktop publishing tools.
- Implement new features while maintaining code quality, application stability, and functional requirements.
- Work with networking technologies, security, encryption, APIs, and database systems.
- Communicate project progress, resolve client issues, and document work according to IT standards.
- Provide technical direction to consultants, clients, and other team members while collaborating with developers, testers, and subject-matter experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or at least four years of technical IT experience.
- 4–7 years of experience in information systems development, implementation, and support.
- Advanced skills in one or more of HTML, JavaScript, .NET, React, Angular, C#, MVC, Git, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Visual Studio.
- Proficiency in SQL, data querying languages, LINQ, Entity Framework, and database transaction optimization.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, Web API, REST, authentication, tokens, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with production deployments, full life cycle software development, Agile/Scrum, technical documentation, cloud platforms, and basic networking security.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jira, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, branching, and DevOps.
