Cyber Security Fellow (AI)

Location: Hybrid position based at a designated hirify.global office in Memphis, TN; Plano, TX; Dallas, TX; Orlando, FL; or Pittsburgh, PA, United States. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and applicable policies.

What you will do

• Provide senior security architecture and cybersecurity guidance for high-impact enterprise technology and business initiatives.
• Define and advance cybersecurity strategy, architecture, standards, technical roadmaps, reusable frameworks, and engineering patterns.
• Transform cybersecurity through AI, machine learning, automation, and emerging technologies across threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations.
• Design secure, resilient, scalable solutions across cloud, application, identity, data, AI/ML, DevSecOps, network, endpoint, and OT/SCADA environments.
• Develop security prototypes, code, automation, secure data architectures, and frameworks for emerging technologies and AI models.
• Mentor cybersecurity professionals and communicate technical risks and recommendations to engineers, business leaders, and senior executives.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in IT information security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal training in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Deep hands-on expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains and experience developing enterprise-scale cybersecurity strategy and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of security and risk frameworks, industry standards, regulatory requirements, cloud platforms, software development, and DevSecOps.
• Strong technical, consulting, project leadership, communication, stakeholder influence, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work from the designated hirify.global office under hybrid work requirements.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or other advanced security certifications.
• Experience using AI and machine learning to improve cybersecurity capabilities and securing GenAI, large language models, and AI agents.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Go, Terraform, or similar technologies for security prototypes and automation.
• Experience securing cloud-native, highly distributed, globally scaled environments or OT/SCADA systems.
• Master's degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
