Kubernetes Administrator

Location: Hybrid work in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice, Czech Republic

What you will do

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters across production, testing, and development environments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, monitoring, and backup compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes performance, networking, and security issues.
• Manage network policies, VPNs, load balancers, VMware environments, upgrades, and patches.
• Automate infrastructure processes using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
• Coordinate with development and DevOps teams and support less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and operational experience with virtualization technologies.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and network policies.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, monitoring and logging tools, and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical infrastructure problems.
• Czech language proficiency is required; English at B2 level is required.
• More than 10 years of experience; no degree is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of VMware Tanzu and VMware vSphere.
