Senior Mainframe Automation Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Maintain, upgrade, convert, and transform z/OS automation software.
• Develop integrations between automation software and platforms or tools including z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, and Netcool.
• Install, customize, and upgrade GDPS, integrating new systems into existing environments.
• Implement, test, and validate Hyperswap, disaster recovery, and high-availability processes.
• Prepare and validate upgrades for mainframes, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, MQ, and related software and hardware.
• Manage assignment queues, prioritize incidents and changes, collaborate with technicians, and recommend modernization options to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of mainframe automation tools such as Broadcom OPS/MVS, MainView Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, and System Automation.
• Deep REXX programming knowledge.
• Experience with maintenance, upgrades, automation software conversion, and transformation.
• Knowledge of change and incident management tools for creating and maintaining automated solutions.
• Practical knowledge and implementation experience with AI.
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish; English proficiency is required.

• Mainframe modernization experience.
• Experience integrating mainframes with hyperscaler solutions.
