Research Technician I (AI)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States; onsite, part-time, temporary/fixed-term position.

Salary: $15.85 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with data analysis and numerical modeling of air pollution using satellite observations.
• Assemble and operate a numerical modeling system using machine learning and AI.
• Provide logistical support for laboratory data storage.
• Support senior staff with data analysis and modeling procedures.
• Assist undergraduate and graduate students with research projects.
• Participate in training and professional development sessions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to work professionally with clients, staff, and groups of varying sizes.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to understand and express information orally and apply inductive and deductive reasoning.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in data science.
• Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
