Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T)

Location: Hybrid work with office attendance two days per week in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice, Czech Republic.

What you will do

• Manage and configure software-defined networks using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in company data centers.
• Configure NSX-T firewalls and contribute to network security standards and vulnerability management.
• Automate bulk SDN configuration through native APIs and maintain infrastructure automation scripts.
• Integrate SDN automation with firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
• Analyze and resolve complex data-center and network infrastructure incidents.
• Document solutions, coordinate with other departments, support new technology implementations, and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of professional experience.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and data-center SDN networks.
• Knowledge of VMware technologies, including containerization, and programming or scripting for infrastructure automation.
• Czech language proficiency is required.
• English at B2 level is required.
• Analytical and independent problem-solving skills, reliability, resilience, willingness to learn, and a category B driving license.
