Postdoctoral Research Associate (Radical SAM Enzyme Biochemistry)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States; full-time, on-site laboratory research position.

What you will do

• Conduct research on radical SAM enzyme biochemistry and hydrogenase maturation.
• Express proteins and perform anaerobic protein purification.
• Use bioanalytical tools to assess protein purity and properties.
• Apply EPR spectroscopy, Mössbauer spectroscopy, electrochemistry, biolayer interferometry, and FTIR to investigate mechanistic and functional details.
• Analyze research data, summarize results, and contribute figures to papers, publications, and funding proposals.
• Collaborate with researchers and faculty, mentor student researchers, maintain laboratory equipment, and support technical progress reports.

• PhD in a related field.
