Graphics Designer IV (Federal Government)

Location: Washington, DC; work is primarily performed in an office environment

Salary: $46.42–$70.00 per hour, depending on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Develop visual identities, logos, brand marks, and rebranding materials for organizational initiatives.
• Design executive-level Microsoft PowerPoint briefings, templates, publications, information papers, talking points, infographics, and organizational charts.
• Create visual products supporting organizational change management, stakeholder communications, leadership messaging, governance forums, and enterprise initiatives.
• Design and maintain accessible, on-brand graphics and layouts for the client’s SharePoint environment.
• Standardize recurring communication products and contribute to best practices, templates, and platform guidance.
• Coordinate product reviews with government approval authorities and incorporate feedback through iterative clearance cycles.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or other federal government clients at the executive level.
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with organizational branding or rebranding, SharePoint content design and governance, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality products on leadership-driven timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with motion graphics, 3D design, or data visualization.
• Ability to act as a team lead.
