TL;DR
Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/Angular): Designing and maintaining agricultural-sector information systems for a European public sector organization across Angular and JavaScript front ends, Java and Spring REST services, and SQL data layers with an accent on technical ownership, security, performance, and data integrity. Focus on building REST APIs, optimizing JPA and SQL data access, evolving existing systems, and making architecture and quality decisions across the full stack.

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote/office work available

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features for agricultural-sector information systems.
  • Build Angular and JavaScript front ends connected to Java and Spring REST services.
  • Take technical ownership of application performance, security, maintainability, and data integrity.
  • Design REST services, implement business logic with Spring and JPA, and optimize SQL data models and queries.
  • Analyze and evolve existing information systems while preserving required compatibility.
  • Contribute to architecture, code reviews, testing, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent higher education with at least 15 years of IT experience, bachelor's degree with at least 17 years, or secondary degree with at least 22 years.
  • At least 10 years of experience with JavaScript, Angular, and REST.
  • At least 8 years of experience with Java, JPA, and SQL.
  • At least 7 years of experience with Spring.
  • Very good spoken and written English at B2 level or higher (CEFR).

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS, Git, Maven, and JUnit.
