Location: Remote within the United States; employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions

Base salary: $160,900–$257,100 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC; $152,900–$244,300 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. Equity awards may also be available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy applied machine learning models and algorithms from problem formulation through productionization.
• Build scalable pipelines for data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and model serving.
• Conduct offline analyses and online experiments to measure model performance and improve product and business outcomes.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into scientific requirements and technical roadmaps with product, engineering, and analytics partners.
• Implement responsible AI practices, including model monitoring, fairness checks, bias analysis, and continuous production improvement.
• Mentor applied scientists and engineers through design reviews, best-practice sharing, and guidance on modern machine learning techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of industry experience applying machine learning or advanced statistical modeling.
• Experience delivering machine learning models into production environments.
• Experience with large-scale datasets, experimentation or A/B testing, and model performance measurement.
• Success collaborating cross-functionally to turn research insights into shipped features or operational improvements.
• Must be employed from within the United States.
