Manager, Medical Affairs (Medical Devices)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; onsite role. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide clinical and medical device expertise across product development, implementation, training, risk assessment, complaint review, and lifecycle management.
• Support clinical evaluations, risk assessments, evidence-generation initiatives, post-market surveillance, investigator-initiated studies, publications, and scientific congress programs.
• Develop and deliver clinical, scientific, and medical device education for internal teams, customers, product launches, and implementation programs.
• Manage Medical Affairs projects, timelines, governance activities, strategic planning, dashboards, reporting, and cross-functional deliverables.
• Support budgets, forecasts, contracts, purchase orders, vendors, consultants, research organizations, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Legal, Marketing, Commercial, and other functions while maintaining compliant, inspection-ready documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical, scientific, healthcare, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, budgets, contracts, vendors, and operational processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30–50% as business needs require.

Nice to have

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree such as NP, PA, MD/DO, DNP, or equivalent.
• Active clinical licensure in good standing.
• Medical Affairs experience in medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, or healthcare technology.
• Experience with evidence generation, publications, investigator-sponsored research, scientific communications, financial systems, procurement platforms, or vendor oversight.
• PMP certification or comparable project management training.
