What you will do

• Identify key authors and research topics suitable for review articles across the life and medical sciences.
• Manage a pipeline of high-quality review articles and oversee the peer-review and editorial processes.
• Edit manuscripts to improve scientific messaging, clarity, and publishing success.
• Work with the Editor-in-Chief and the Cell Press editorial family to increase the journal's visibility.
• Represent the journal at conferences and public forums, engaging with the scientific community.
• Execute AI- and data-driven innovations and experiments for the journal community.

Requirements

• PhD focused on research in life or medical sciences.
• Prior editorial or developmental editing experience is highly recommended.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, impartially, and proactively.
• Strategic, solution-oriented, and enthusiastic approach to scientific communication.
• Must have the right to work in China.

Nice to have

• Post-doctoral training.
