Technical Project Manager - Security Engineering

What you will do

• Lead complex security infrastructure projects from requirements and technical design through implementation, migration, and operational handover.
• Build project plans covering milestones, ownership, dependencies, change windows, rollback plans, and risks.
• Coordinate security, network, platform, service desk, vendor, and business stakeholders across regions and time zones.
• Plan and govern production changes, including impact assessments, testing, communications, approvals, and post-change validation.
• Run technical design reviews, document architecture decisions and risks, and manage vendor engagements and platform lifecycle dependencies.
• Track audit and regulatory commitments and provide clear status reporting to engineering, infrastructure, risk, and compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Eight or more years managing technical infrastructure or engineering projects, including at least four years focused on security, network, or identity projects.
• Experience delivering a large-scale security platform replacement or migration in a live production environment, such as VPN, MFA, firewall, or identity platforms.
• Experience planning and governing production changes on business-critical infrastructure, including maintenance windows, rollback planning, and validation.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, authentication, proxies, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, networking, and security controls.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and EU financial regulation including DORA.
• Experience coordinating distributed engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders, with strong communication, governance, and risk management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, trading technology, or another highly regulated, low-downtime environment.
• Previous experience as a security or network engineer.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA, or Cisco CCNP Security certification.
