Civil Estimator (EPC Tenders)

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil, structural, and building scopes in EPC and EPCC tenders.
• Perform and verify quantity take-offs from civil, structural, foundation, steel, and architectural drawings.
• Develop quantities from benchmarks, ratios, and historical data when FEED or preliminary engineering is limited.
• Build unit rates covering labor, plant, materials, and subcontractors, accounting for Middle East working conditions.
• Identify scope gaps, ambiguities, and risks, and prepare technical queries and client clarifications.
• Prepare manpower histograms, equipment requirements, construction durations, planning inputs, site indirects, and temporary works inputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 5–7 years of estimating experience in EPC oil and gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in the GCC and hands-on pricing of civil scopes for NOC tenders.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical ability, and commercial and risk judgment.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple bids in parallel, and communicate assumptions and qualifications clearly.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines and handle pricing data with integrity and confidentiality.
