Senior Piping Specialist

What you will do

• Manage piping material and pipe support work packages throughout industrial projects.
• Review supplier documentation, perform quality reviews, and track document progress.
• Select pipe materials, estimate weights, create new pipe classes, and maintain existing classes based on process requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications for pipe materials and pipe supports.
• Prepare piping strength calculations, pipe support details, and design criteria.
• Support construction, commissioning, prefabrication, erection, and supplier coordination.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in piping design for heavy industrial, power, or oil and gas plants.
• Expertise in piping materials, ASME and EN codes and standards, prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance, and pressure testing.
• Knowledge of 3D design and CAE tools, such as COMOS.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination capabilities.
