Scrum Master / Business Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Bratislava; presence in the office required at least 3 times per week

Starting base salary: EUR 2,930 per month

What you will do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog and translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases.
• Coordinate delivery with business stakeholders, development teams, external vendors, change management, and service providers.
• Plan user acceptance testing, capture business feedback, support formal sign-off, and coordinate defect resolution and releases.
• Support incident escalations, root-cause investigations, platform-related projects, and quarterly weekend production deployments.
• Maintain project documentation, decision records, process descriptions, application documentation, release notes, and communications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or in a comparable combined Agile delivery role.
• Practical experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing delivery impediments, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Strong business analysis skills covering requirements elicitation, process analysis, backlog refinement, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Experience working with product owners, business stakeholders, technical teams, external vendors, and service providers.
• Insurance industry experience with knowledge of exposure, accumulation, and reinsurance terminology.
• Excellent written and spoken English; office presence in Bratislava at least 3 times per week.
