Co-Op, Research Engineering and AI Integration (AI)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. This is a site-based position requiring full-time on-site attendance and is not eligible for remote work.

Salary: $20.00–$60.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to design, develop, and implement technology solutions across drug development and manufacturing.
• Assist with designing and testing automated systems that meet operational and quality standards for clinical and commercial production.
• Support process automation strategies and create documentation and training materials.
• Analyze and troubleshoot existing systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Contribute to technology integration initiatives that improve efficiency and innovation in the production pipeline.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest in applied technologies, automation, and systems integration.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
• Availability for the full co-op period from January 18, 2027 through June 25, 2027.
• Must already hold US work authorization and maintain it without future immigration sponsorship.
• Must work on site full time in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in automation, robotics, or technology development.
• Familiarity with programming languages or software used in automation and systems engineering.
• Experience with CAD software or other design tools.
