Validation Engineer & Embedded System Integration (Automotive)

What you will do

• Perform system-level validation of embedded hardware and software, with a focus on functional testing.
• Design and maintain laboratory test environments, test systems, configurations, and setups.
• Write and execute test plans and test cases based on system requirements, including manual and automated tests.
• Debug and integrate hardware and software systems, validate communication protocols and interfaces, and perform hardware bring-up.
• Install and support debug systems and sensors on development vehicles.
• Assist automotive customers during system integration and collaborate across hirify.global departments.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 2–5 years of experience in integration or validation, including embedded systems testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI tools such as Jenkins and Linux-based systems.
• Working knowledge of Python, including debugging Python code.
• Experience with networking, communication interfaces and protocols, test infrastructures, laboratory environments, and test setups.
• Fluent English and Hebrew; on-site work in Jerusalem, Israel is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with defect tracking and validation tools such as Jira.
