Senior Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, implement, operate, and own scalable data pipelines end to end.
• Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, schemas, and data models for analytics and downstream use.
• Optimize data processing workflows and integrate data from multiple systems, including streaming and real-time data.
• Build production AI/ML data pipelines covering embeddings, vector stores, RAG data preparation, feature stores, and training and inference flows.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, observability, and governance practices that improve data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with analytics, AI, and product teams, contributing to architecture decisions, design discussions, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python or Scala skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, enterprise data warehousing, ETL/ELT frameworks, and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with streaming platforms, real-time processing, distributed systems, data modeling, and schema design.
• Experience with CI/CD for data systems, container orchestration, data quality, and observability.
• Hands-on experience building production AI/ML data pipelines and daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data mesh, data fabric, MLOps, or BI tool integration.
