QA Mobile Engineer

Location: Hybrid work model in Rybnik, Poland; remote or office work is available

What you will do

• Convert manual test cases into automated end-to-end tests for iOS and Android applications.
• Develop an automation strategy to increase coverage and reduce manual regression testing.
• Maintain reliable test suites, analyze failures and flaky tests, and report defects in detail.
• Build shared automation framework components and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Define acceptance criteria and testability requirements with product and development teams.
• Ensure application quality, security, and compliance with business and healthcare requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA Engineering experience, including at least 3 years in mobile test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium and Katalon; familiarity with Espresso, UIAutomator2, or XCUITest.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit and programming or scripting in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API and backend testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Charles Proxy.
• Experience with GitHub, JIRA or Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Very good English communication skills are required for working in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of security, privacy, or medical device regulations such as HIPAA or GDPR.
• ISTQB or similar certification.
• SQL and database data validation experience.
• SAFe Agile experience.
• Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
