Portfolio Management Analyst (Solar Energy)

What you will do

• Own monthly and quarterly reporting across active solar lease, PPA, and battery storage financing transactions.
• Build reporting templates and data delivery frameworks for new deals in partnership with deal execution and legal teams.
• Track portfolio performance metrics and present meaningful insights to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Support tax equity partners and institutional investors with reporting inquiries, investor calls, annual reviews, and ad hoc data requests.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records across active financing relationships.
• Improve data flows and develop scalable reporting workflows using Microsoft Fabric, BI tools, AI-assisted tools, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in structured finance, asset management, portfolio reporting, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex models, data tables, and data manipulation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present data clearly to investors and senior leadership.
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Nice to have

• Experience in solar, clean energy, or consumer financial products.
• Exposure to tax equity, securitization, or other structured finance products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and experience with Power BI or comparable BI tools.
• Experience using AI tools to automate reporting and data workflows.
• Familiarity with investor reporting obligations for institutional or tax equity investors.
