Environmental Data Product Manager (ESG)

Location: Chicago, United States. Hybrid work with four days in the office each week in most locations.

Total annual cash compensation: $95,275–$139,741.66, inclusive of annual base salary and target incentive.

What you will do

• Own the corporate climate reporting portfolio, including Climate Transition, TCFD reporting, and portions of corporate sustainability reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly GHG emissions data uploads and maintain sustainability scorecards, dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
• Support Scope 3 emissions expansion and coordinate automation opportunities with the Center of Excellence.
• Track and interpret climate-related regulatory requirements, including CA SB253/261, EU CSRD, and TCFD/ISSB, in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
• Administer Salesforce Agentforce Net Zero, manage users, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate platform releases and enhancements.
• Strengthen sustainability governance, data quality, accountability, and regulatory, voluntary, and customer reporting processes.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in sustainability, ESG data or reporting, environmental compliance, or a related analytical role.
• Experience with GHG accounting and emissions data across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3; familiarity with the GHG Protocol.
• Working knowledge of climate-related disclosure regulations, including CA SB253/261, CSRD, and TCFD/ISSB, or the ability to learn regulatory frameworks quickly.
• Strong data management and quality assurance skills, with comfort working in Salesforce-based platforms.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and an understanding of sustainability, climate change, and their impact on businesses.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce administration.
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce Net Zero or a comparable ESG or carbon accounting platform.
• FSA credential, ongoing FSA study, or an equivalent sustainability certification.
• Experience supporting external assurance or audit processes.
