Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Guatemala/Retalhuleu; work from home 100% of the time or work from one of the global offices.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain customer-facing web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build new features and improve existing functionality across web products.
• Develop internal tools for content, permissions, device management, and monitoring.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Build reusable, maintainable components and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot technical and performance issues while collaborating with product, design, backend, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• 5+ years of software development experience building production web applications.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and component-based development.
• Experience with REST APIs, frontend testing practices, and Git.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with internal or administrative platforms and dashboards.
• Experience with device management or monitoring applications.
• Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Some React Native or mobile development experience.
