Motion Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; full-time and in-person at the San Francisco office

Krea AI builds AI creative tools for text, images, video, sound, and 3D, including its Krea 2 foundation model.

What you will do

• Design and animate content for product launches, feature announcements, and social channels.
• Develop storyboards and style frames to establish project direction.
• Use typography, graphics, and UI animation to explain product features and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop ideas and iterate on feedback.
• Partner with the product team to understand new features and demonstrate them effectively.

Requirements

• Proven motion design experience with a portfolio of completed projects; a portfolio or reel is required.
• Strong eye for typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong animation fundamentals, including timing, pacing, and transitions.
• Experience developing concepts and storyboards, as well as product or UI animation and creative software launches.
• Proficiency in After Effects or equivalent motion-design software.
• Clear communication skills and comfort handling feedback and revisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D animation, compositing, or sound design.
• Familiarity with AI creative tools and interest in using them in production.
