Motion Designer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $125,000–$144,000 per year

What you will do

• Create motion assets for brand and marketing initiatives, including campaigns, product explainers, digital ads, social media, and web.
• Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, engaging visual stories for technical and business audiences.
• Develop concepts, storyboards, and animatics with brand designers, writers, product marketing, and content teams.
• Animate polished, on-brand content with strong timing, transitions, typography, and visual clarity.
• Help define and evolve the motion design system across brand touchpoints.
• Manage video and animation workflows from concept through final delivery, including voiceover, music, and sound design.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or a related role.
• Portfolio demonstrating motion design, storytelling, and brand-driven work across multiple formats.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and working knowledge of Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, composition, and pacing.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender.
• Familiarity with Figma and modern design workflows.
• Experience creating lightweight web motion using tools such as Lottie.
• Background in SaaS, enterprise technology, or storytelling for complex products.
