Motion Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Create motion design for marketing campaigns, product launches, customer stories, events, social content, and brand initiatives.
• Develop motion systems, animation principles, reusable templates, guidelines, and documentation for the hirify.global brand.
• Translate complex AI concepts into compelling visual narratives across digital, experiential, social, and product touchpoints.
• Collaborate with brand design, marketing, product, leadership, engineers, and external creative partners.
• Establish motion best practices and help build hirify.global’s motion practice from the ground up.
• Mentor teammates and explore AI-enabled creative workflows while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.

Requirements

• 8+ years of motion design experience and a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, storytelling, and scalable design systems.
• Deep expertise in animation principles, timing, visual storytelling, typography, and motion systems.
• Experience building reusable motion frameworks, assets, and standards across teams and channels.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to explain creative direction and design rationale.
• Expert knowledge of After Effects, Premiere, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-growth technology, SaaS, AI, B2B, or consumer brands.
• Experience with Cinema 4D, Rive, Lottie, AI-powered creative tools, or emerging motion workflows.
