Cybersecurity Intern (AI)

Location: In-office at the company headquarters in Plano, Texas, Monday through Friday

Salary: $23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Build an offensive harness that scripts MITRE ATT&CK techniques, runs them safely in test environments, and measures detection results.
• Build a defensive harness using LLMs and agents to draft alert triage and prioritize vulnerability remediation.
• Analyze detection coverage, time to detect, alert quality, and time to fix.
• Develop, test, review, and document code using AI coding tools.
• Write the runbook, transfer the tooling to the cybersecurity team, and demonstrate the results to leadership.

Requirements

• Experience building a generative AI application, agent, or project using an LLM API, with a repository, notebook, or write-up to share.
• Proficiency in Python, Git, APIs, JSON, SQL, and a data analysis library such as pandas.
• Ability to clean and analyze messy datasets and clearly explain findings.
• Coursework in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Rising junior or above at an accredited four-year college or university, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work onsite in Plano, Texas; employment-based immigration sponsorship, OPT, and CPT support are not provided.
