SVP, Global Head of Operations (Crypto)

Location: Remote within a 1-hour commute of the New York City office hub; based in or able to relocate to the New York, NY area. Travel to Chicago and Amsterdam hubs may be required.

What you will do

• Lead and unify Settlement & Trading Operations, Custody Operations, Financial Operations, Liquidity & Exchange Services, Technical Support Engineering, and Client Experience.
• Oversee reconciliation, ledger accuracy, fee and revenue operations, financial reporting, audit support, and regulatory reporting.
• Own trade execution, settlement, exception handling, break resolution, settlement risk monitoring, and operational resilience across digital assets and fiat rails.
• Direct custody operations, including wallet management, key ceremonies, asset movement controls, segregation of duties, dual controls, and audit readiness.
• Scale global liquidity services, exchange and market-maker relationships, stablecoin issuer partnerships, and settlement optimization across venues and jurisdictions.
• Build escalation paths, service-level agreements, root-cause processes, customer support standards, and operational tooling that reduce risk and improve scalability.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in financial services, brokerage, banking, payments, or digital-asset infrastructure, including 5+ years in a senior or executive operations role.
• Direct experience leading settlement, trading operations, or custody operations at a regulated financial institution, broker-dealer, exchange, or digital-asset platform.
• Direct professional experience with crypto, stablecoins, tokenized assets, or related digital-asset infrastructure.
• Experience overseeing financial operations, reconciliation, client-facing support, or trade support functions and scaling operations teams.
• Strong understanding of digital-asset settlement, custody, market infrastructure, risk management, and compliance-first environments.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the New York, NY area; executive communication and board-level presentation experience are required.
