Cloud Native Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid with a minimum of two days per week on-site, typically at the client's location

What you will do

• Design solutions for complex infrastructure as code, containerization, monitoring, and deployment challenges.
• Implement high-quality cloud-native solutions for client organizations.
• Make, communicate, and defend architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and management teams on effective technical solutions.
• Share cloud-native best practices and lessons learned.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers while promoting automation and DevOps principles.

Requirements

• Background in software development and/or operations.
• Advanced, administrator-level Kubernetes experience in production environments; CKA and/or CKAD certification is relevant.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch and using infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, plus knowledge of distributed systems, containerized microservices, and highly scalable web applications.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
• Must be based in the Netherlands.
