Hardware Validation Intern (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Perform block-level and system-level post-silicon validation of preamplifier products and standard IP.
• Conduct functional and performance validation, power analysis, and electrical characterization across process, voltage, and temperature corners.
• Develop and run automated test scripts for preamplifier validation using equipment such as AWGs, oscilloscopes, VNAs, and DMMs.
• Collect and analyze laboratory data, prepare customer-facing test reports, and investigate validation results.
• Debug hardware issues and develop techniques to isolate root causes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Academic or professional focus on product performance characterization and hardware validation.
• Ability to explain a completed project, including its objectives, personal contribution, and issue-resolution approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including providing updates and asking clarifying questions.

• Experience with Python programming or scripting.
