Sr Accounting Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Birmingham, AL or Minneapolis, MN, with regular in-office attendance. Birmingham roles require at least 2 office days per week; Minneapolis roles require at least 1 office day per week. Some roles may require full-time office presence.

Salary: $75,200–$120,000 per year, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and work location.

What you will do

• Oversee core accounting operations and financial integrity across hirify.global’s full P&L.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Provide functional leadership, work review, and technical guidance to a team of three accountants.
• Modernize accounting processes, ERP systems, sub-ledger integrations, and financial reporting automation.
• Analyze technical accounting standards, economic trends, and operational changes to update accounting policies.
• Partner with business stakeholders on P&L accuracy, technical guidance, ad hoc analyses, and special projects.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Previous experience with SQL and Workday ERP.
• Experience working effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and changing environments.
• Curious mindset with a focus on process improvement.
