Senior Agentic AI Engineer (Agentic AI)

What you will do

• Own agentic AI use cases from ideation and experimentation through development, testing, and production deployment.
• Design modular agent skills and tools for multiple business workflows.
• Model and extend Palantir Foundry Ontology components and build LLM-driven workflows with AIP Logic, AIP Automate, and AIP Assist.
• Engineer structured and unstructured data pipelines, semantic layers, ontologies, and context layers for agentic applications.
• Select, deploy, and cost-optimize models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and other providers through Azure AI Foundry and Databricks Genie.
• Build GitHub repositories and automated CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with client stakeholders, and share Palantir knowledge with pod teammates.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, data science, or LLM engineering with production cloud work.
• Experience delivering agentic AI across the full lifecycle, including composable agent skills and tools.
• Experience deploying major LLM providers and evaluating model selection, deployment trade-offs, and cost.
• Data engineering experience with structured and unstructured data, including RAG, retrieval, and document processing.
• Experience with Azure and/or Databricks, GitHub, DevOps, CI/CD, Python, and SQL.
• Clear written and verbal English communication, availability for a 15-month engagement, and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Palantir Foundry and AIP experience, including Foundry Core and AIP Logic, AIP Automate, or AIP Assist.
• Experience defining semantic layers, ontologies, or context spines on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• DevSecOps experience with secrets management, security scanning, and CI/CD policy controls.
• Palantir certifications, LLM fine-tuning experience, or retail and CPG data experience.
