Product Developer (C#)

Location: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada (remote)

hirify.global is a global software company developing solutions for the offshore and marine industries, including shipbuilding software.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend a large legacy codebase built on AutoCAD.
• Implement features for 3D modeling and management of shipbuilding components, including HVAC ducting, piping, and equipment.
• Develop software using C# and C++ and apply object-oriented programming practices.
• Design and manage complex object relationships and algorithms using linear algebra and graph theory.
• Collaborate with a self-directed Agile team and contribute to relational database development.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with C# or another modern object-oriented language.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile team.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a strong mathematical background.

Nice to have

• Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
• Experience developing Windows desktop applications in C++.
• Experience with WPF and MVVM.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, AutoCAD, or other CAD software.
